We understand the importance that Health & Wellbeing can have on our workforce. Construction can be a very stressful environment to work in, so we ensure we have the right people in place to monitor the health of our employees.
Our Fit to Work campaign focus' on peoples fitness to work, no just physically but mentally. We ensure through site visits, monitoring and health surveillance that our employees are never at risk. We want our staff to go home healthier than when they started.
We have Safety Walkers on our sites and Mental Health Ambassadors visiting and giving guidance and support on how to talk about issues people may be expereincing.
We are passionate about raising awareness around the importance of good mental health and ensuring the stigma of not talking can be overcome.
Occupational Health & Testing
We know all to much the dangers construction faces for our people. This is why our main goal towards occupational health has always been to protect our workforce and promote their health and wellbeing in all that they do. As standard practice, our employees undergo occupational health, safety critical and fit for work testing through our mobile health provider. This allows us to identify any ill health and put in place measures to protect our people.
As part of our commitment to create a safer working environment, we carry out random drug & alcohol testing across all of our projects. This ensures, as part of our duty of care, our people's competence, ability and judgement is not impaired in the workplace, creating a safer environment for all.
