M42 Junction 6 Improvements

"We had the Project F&R today with the Infrastructure Leadership Team and I was delighted to hear warm praise from our IPL and Delivery Lead regarding Kellys.  My understanding is that BR05 FRC was a standalone contract for Kelly Formwork and owing to their performance on that part of the scheme we are in a position to award them the rest of the FRC package on the scheme.  Well done Kellys!!

I should also add that two of Kelly’s ‘Black Hats’ were singled out for praise and excellent behaviours on site. I’m told they are responsible for organising and maintaining standards on site along with Esther, Lewis, Adam and Keith so please give that group a massive pat on the back from me.  It’s reassuring to know we’ve got such a talented team on site keeping it safe and compliant"

"I am writing to thank you for Kelly Formwork's good progress. As you know due to a variaty of issues, the start to the concrete installation wasn't as smooth as desired, however since October, your team have made very good progress on site. The slab works in P1 are complete and your team are currently pouring up to 1500 square metres of slab per day on the main deck. They have adapted to site and weather conditions in order to maximise production and the deck is now 50% complete. Thank you for your personal drive in achieving this, and your team should be thanked and recognised for their great efforts on site."

A14

"I would like to say big thank you for supporting delivery of what was a key milestone of the A14 improvement scheme. 

The weekend went as a clockwork with everybody playing their part as originally planned (and in Kelly Formwork even sooner sooner!!!).

Highways England are extremely happy with the team performance. There is also lots of positive feedback coming from members of public for the A14 being opened well ahead of schedule.

I would like to thank you for participation during all those planning sessions we had and for doing above and beyond. Your flexibility is appreciated.

Waterloo International Terminal

"We have had a sign off from the station that platforms 20, 21, 22 and concourse are officially ready for passenger trains. The station is not going to run trains today due to some internal issues but as far as we are concerned the project delivered on what we had to do. Although the job is not fully complete, this is a huge achievement for everyone involved. Thanks for all the hard work that Kelly Formwork have done over the last few months (especially the last few days). Please pass this onto Christian and the lads.

Hammersmith Flyover

"As part of the Hammersmith Flyover Strengthening Works (Phase-2) Costain, as Principal Contractor employed Kelly Formwork to construct a mock-up of half a span of the flyover bridge which is to be used for a number of activities relative to the permanent works on the flyover.

This includes, confined space entry and rescue training, trials of works within the bridge as well as trials for the cantilevered section to the underside of the bridge. This half span was formed onto a false-work platform with one cell reinforced concrete, incorporating the cantilevered arch and the other cells formed with timber panelling, one of these also incorporated the cantilevered arch.

Led by their experienced Site Manager, the Kelly Formwork operatives worked tirelessly to complete the main installations within a tight 5 week programme, while keeping a positive attitude throughout. They have constructed this unusual and complex structure to a high standard of quality, while maintaining excellent compliance to the required health & Safety procedures on site"
